The student/scholar quote for recent YCA's participation in WBA's event in Bangkok on June 12, 2024
The recent high-level panel discussion underscores the significance of embracing, nurturing, and promoting perspectives from the Global South while decolonizing knowledge production about leadership on business action for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). As we continue to address the pressing challenges of climate change, biodiversity preservation, and inclusive social development, we must practice and emphasize the incorporation of grassroots approaches and citizen science, which are essential for realizing the Agenda 2030, particularly in the context of Asia and the Pacific. And I see how Yunus Center at AIT (YCA), one of the stakeholders in the Global Sustainability Conference, continues to value the voices and agencies of the marginalized and those living in impoverished areas in our region as catalysts of change through their social business and action-based learning approaches that make humanity for all. The pertinence of the 2030 Agenda for Development remains unchanged, and concerted collaborative endeavours—like the one YCA has been emphasizing—hold the promise of establishing a sustainable and just future where you belong.

Please hold the line and believe that no matter how simple our lives may be, we can still be part of the process—starting the reform from ourselves and our homes.
